St Mary’s Episcopal Primary School & Nursery

St Mary’s Episcopal Primary School was built around the same time as the church and over the last 160 years there has been a close relationship between pupils and staff and the congregation.

Today, the school uses the church hall for lunches and some of their activities, and the church for end of term services. The Rector leads assemblies and provides pastoral care for families and staff. Church and school enjoy working together to serve the community.

St Mary’s is a ‘denominational school’ and there are strong ties with the church and every effort is made to find a place at the school for children who are church members. Please speak with the rector if you are moving into the area and have children who would like to go to the school.

Memory Café @ St Mary’s

Church and school work together to host an occasional event for local people living with dementia supported by Dementia Friendly Dunblane. We are in the process of making our buildings more dementia-friendly and are planning a series of awareness-raising talks. You can find out more about Dementia Friends Scotland here.
